Cisco TelePresence Multipoint Switch (CTMS) |
1.8 |
- 1.8: 1080p is not available to any other endpoints than C-Series endpoints.
- 1.8: Initial release of CTMS 1.8.0 supports 720p only with all endpoints running TC5.0 or later.
- 1.8: Secure meetings are not supported.
- When dialing to the CTMS, VCS cannot be interwork the call (H.323 to SIP conversion). Such a conversion will make the call drop.
- 1.8: Minimum call rate to join a CTMS conference is 2.25Mbps, as CTMS requires minimum 720p resolution.
- TC interoperability must be enabled on the CTMS.
- Black Screen Codes are supported, but these will not work if the system is behind a firewall.
- CSCud36845: CTMS can not handle mid call re-invite causes problems in mixed 720p/1080p environments
- CSCud45692: CTMS does not respect capability set from a 720p restricted C- series endpoint. This may cause no video after the 15-minute session refresh because the 1080p30/720p60 capable endpoints will start transmitting this resolution, which the 720p endpoint cannot decode.

No issues if the CTS system is registered to Unified CM version 8.5.1, 8.6(2a)SU2 or a later version.
If the system running TC software is registered to Unified CM version 8.6.x, the following parameters apply:
Maximum video: 720p
Audio: G.722 (with 8.6(2a)SU2 and later, AASC-LD LATM is supported for audio)
Security: Secure
Presentation: Yes (BFCP)

SIP: 1080p60 support on Lago 1G codecs Encrypted calls supported with TC6 CSCue12132: In a point-to-point call between TX9000 running TX6.0 and TC6 the TC6 endpoint has decoding errors on 1080p if the TX6.0 endpoint has previously dialed a CTMS. Bug is identified in TX software.
No issues if the TX or CTS system is registered to Unified CM version 8.5.1, 8.6(2a)SU3 or a later version.
If the system running TC software is registered to Unified CM version 8.6.x, the following parameters apply:

No video is seen on a C60 if the following conditions are met:
- A Cisco TelePresence System 500 Series, 1000, 1100, 1300 Series, 3000 Series, 3200 Series, or TX9000 Series calls a C60.
- The products mentioned in Step 1 share a presentation with the C60.
- The C60 places the call on hold, then resumes the call.
Under these conditions, neither the main video nor the presentation is seen by the C60.
